Ruthie is 19 months old!!

And there goes another month... they fly by SO fast!!

Here's what she's been up to:

* She WALKING!!!!
* She loves citrus fruit- especially tangerines - which is convenient because we have a plethora of citrus growing in our yard- two tangerine trees, an orange tree, and a grapefruit tree!! Every time we go outside (side) she has to pick a tangerine and eat it on the spot! It is so cute. She just gobbles them up. Sometimes I think she doesn't even chew them. And you can just forget about getting a bite for yourself!! :)

* She's WALKING!!!

* She does this adorable thing when she's cold. She balls her hands into fists and holds them up and shakes them and says "coooolllld" in a really cute voice. It's so sweet!! :) I gotta get that on camera!

* She's WALKING!!!

* She has some new words:
"Daddy" - actually saying both syllables
"All-ni" = all done
"Cucky"= Ducky

We are so proud of her hard work in Physical Therapy. She started walking on Superbowl Sunday and has made excellent progress!!! Her PT is very impressed!! :) We are so happy for her and proud of her.

This is her crazy hair after she had her EEG. That gunk they put in there is like GLUE!! Too bad I didn't take my camera w/ me to the dr's because she looked like the cutest little thing with her head wrapped in gauze and wires sticking out. She was so pathetic it was cute.

For your viewing pleasure... Ruthie walking during the super bowl!! We were at my sil's house and we spent the whole game watching Ruthie out of the corner of our eye to see if she'd walk some more. Later- when we were ready to leave she really heated it up and that's when I finally thought to grab my camera... DUH!! Thank you for praying for her!!!

Super Sunday!!!

Ah, the smell of sloppy joes and wings... the eye popping amount of treats at every turn... the roar of the crowd in the background... Yes, it was SUPER-BOWL SUNDAY!!!


My husband is a graphic artist and designs for the NFL so every football Sunday is exciting around our house, but Super Bowl Sunday is defiantly the best. Let's just get this out of the way... We were rooting for the Patriots. Yes, I know they cheated, Yes, I know they weren't the underdogs, BUT Tony's yearly bonus is totally impacted by the sales revenue from the Superbowl. And who wins is VERY IMPORTANT in terms of sales... So as you can see it's all about the money... :)

But I digress, We had a few of our favorite people over to help celebrate the day with FOOD, FOLKS, and FUN!!! We cheered the game on until the last nail-biting second was played. And, sadly the Pats are now 18-1- an imperfect record. Actually if we put the $$ aside, I'm kind of tired of the whole Patriots thing... You know what I mean? Can't another team just take the lead here??? Do us all a favor??? :)
