34 Weeks!

We are in the middle of our 34th week! I have included my latest "belly shot" so that the world can see as I get bigger and bigger!! My brother asked me today if I was "huge". I told him I didn't think I was. But, apparently I have been kidding myself, as someone told my friend that she thought I was VERY BIG!!!

Don't you love honesty? I visited the doctor today. He said all is well, blood pressure, weight, and sugars (I'm gestational diabetic). I told him about my very annoying cough that has been keeping myself and my husband up ALL NIGHT. (I'm not exaggerating here, folks. It's been a week. I guess we're getting ready for the sleepless nights that are coming soon in our future!) He just blew me off when I started talking about it. Well, he really wasn't that bad. It's just my prospective. He explained something about congestion and not being able to really take care of it until I deliver. I just heard, "grow up and deal with it!" But it isn't what he said at all!! Anyway, her heartbeat is good. I'll have another report next week!! :)

The information below is from the baby center website! Enjoy!!

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is probably almost 18 inches long from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Her central nervous system is still maturing, but her lungs are well developed now. That's great news in case she decides to come early. If you've been nervous about going into preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that 99 percent of babies this age can survive outside the womb — and most have no major long-term problems related to prematurity.
